Court Divisions

The Courts’ department encompasses several divisions within the Clerk’s Office:

• Circuit Civil
• County Civil (Small Claims)
• Family Law
• Felony
• Jury Services
• Juvenile
• Misdemeanor
• Probate
• County Probation
• Traffic

Court department employees attend court sessions, prepare and maintain court calendars, receipt and record all documents filed within their respective departments, and oversee jury selection.

Additional responsibilities include money collection and disbursement for assessed court costs and fines, as well as maintaining information required for State Statistical Reporting.
