Juvenile

The Clerk’s Juvenile Division processes records dealing with Delinquency and Dependency cases, involving people under 18 years of age.

All Delinquency and Dependency records are confidential.

The only parties who may inspect a juvenile file without a court order are:

  • Child
  • Parents
  • Attorneys
  • Guardian ad litem
  • Law enforcement agencies
  • Department of Children and Families and its designees
  • Department of Juvenile Justice and its designees
  • Parole Commission
  • Department of Corrections.

As mandated by Florida Law, we cannot give out any information over the phone or on the Internet about any juvenile case. To view the court file, the authorized person must appear in person with a proper picture I.D.

Juvenile Delinquency

Cases involve juveniles who have been accused of committing a crime.

Juvenile Dependency

Cases are established when children have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.

Judicial Bypass Process

Confidential cases filed by a minor to Terminate Pregnancy without parental consent.

Emancipation (Removal of Non-Age)

Emancipation is handled through the Family Law Division of the Bay County Clerks Office
